Stainless steel solar powered garden lights 8 pack

  Two interview about it
 One
I purchased these lights due to the fact A-they were cheap and B-they looked The best for around that price range.
One receiving the lights my fist observation was ....these are the wrong lights, they looked nothing like the ones off the Amazon web page, also instead of 8 lights there were 10
(This is a plus side I know but all will be revealed later on in my story)
Anyway I was keen to see just how good they worked so I set upon making them up, first problem! the plastic base of one was completely damaged, Second problem three of the so-called new batteries were rusty and didn't work, Third problem the stainless steel pillars on which the lights were to be fixed to, only five of the spikes ( the bits that go into the ground and into the pillar ) pushed in nicely, the others I had to cut away and sand down just so they would fit, also on either end of the pillars the edges were very sharp and due to the fact I had to force one or two of the pillars on I ended up cutting my hand quite badly, Fourth problem two of the lights wouldn't work due to the fact they hadn't even been wired up properly, Fifth problem even though the were supposed to be external lights when it rains the water seeps down through the solar panel and fills up the internal lens of the light and it stops working.
  So to conclude
1)The lights I received didn't resemble the ones I ordered
2)Even though I paid for 8 lights and 10 were sent and only 5 worked
3)As far as external lights are concerned they let water in and stop working when it rains
4)I am now a professional at soldering loose wires
So all in all not impressed. If you are looking for
solar lights to put in your garden my suggestion is to stay well away from these, spend a little more and purchase lights that work.

Two
Got these lights a month ago, first thing is they look smart, when on or off, when I first got them 3 out of the 8 lights failed to work, after a bit of tinkering mainly due to bad connections with the battery all 8 are now working & have had no further problems.

The lights give off a nice glow but don't expect them to light your garden up as they are more for appearance than light.

That said I am more than happy with them & at around 25quid for 8 lights you can't go far wrong.

Pocket knife

A steel pocket knife is a folding knife with one or more blades that fit inside the handle that can still fit in a pocket. It is also known as a jackknife or jack-knife.A typical blade length is 5 to 15 centimetres (2 to 6 in).Pocket knives are versatile tools, and may be used for anything from opening an envelope, cutting twine, performing an emergency tracheotomy, slicing a piece of fruit or even as a means of self-defense.
The earliest known pocket knives date to at least the early Iron Age. A pocket knife with bone handle was found at Hallstatt, dating to around 600-500 BC.Iberian folding-blade knives made by indigenous artisans and craftsmen and dating to the pre-Roman era have been found in Spain.
The peasant knife, farmer knife, or penny knife is the original and most basic design of folding pocket knife, using a simple pivoted blade that folds in and out of the handle freely, without a backspring, slipjoint, or blade locking mechanism. The first peasant knives date to the pre-Roman era, but were not widely distributed nor affordable by most people until the advent of limited production of such knives in cutlery centers such as Sheffield, England commencing around 1650,with large-scale production starting around the year 1700 with models such as Fuller's Penny Knife and the Wharncliffe Knife. Some peasant knives used a bolster or tensioning screw at the blade to apply friction to the blade tang in order to keep the blade in the open position. The smallest (Nos. 2 -5) Opinel knives are an example of the peasant knife. The knife's low cost made it a favorite of small farmers, herdsmen, and gardeners in Europe and the Americas during the late 19th and early 20th century.
Most pocket knives for light duty are slip joints. This means that the blade does not lock but, once opened, is held in place by tension from a flat bar or leaf-type back spring that allows the blade to fold if a certain amount of pressure is applied. The first spring-back knives were developed around 1660 in England, but were not widely available or affordable to most people until the arrival of the Industrial Revolution and the development of machinery capable of mass production. Most locking knives have only one blade that is as large as can be fitted into the handle, because the locking mechanism relies on the spring along the back of the blade to lock it and it is difficult to build in multiple levers, one for each blade. Slipjoints tend to be smaller in size than most typical pocket knives.

Stapler

A stapler is a mechanical device that joins sheets of paper or similar material by driving a thin metal staple through the sheets and folding the ends. Staplers are widely used in government, business, offices, and schools.
The word "stapler" can actually refer to a number of different devices of varying uses. In addition to joining paper sheets together, staplers can also be used in a surgical setting to join tissue together with surgical staples to close a surgical wound (much in the same way as stitches or sutures).
Typically, most staplers are used to join multiple sheets of paper. Paper staplers come in two distinct types: manual and electric. Manual staplers are normally hand-held, although models that are used while set on a desk or other surface are not uncommon. Electric staplers exist in a variety of different designs and models. Their primary operating function is to join large numbers of paper sheets together in rapid succession. Some electric staplers can join up to 20 sheets at a time.
Permanent fastening  binds items by driving the staple through the material and into an anvil, a small metal plate that bends the ends, usually inward. On most modern staplers, the anvil rotates or slides to change between bending the staple ends inward for permanent stapling or outward for pinning (see below). Clinches can be standard, squiggled, flat, or rounded completely adjacent to the paper to facilitate neater document stacking.
Pinning temporarily binds documents or other items, often cloth or clothing for sewing. To pin, the anvil slides or rotates so that the staple bends outwards instead of inwards. Some staplers pin by bending one leg of the staple inwards and the other outwards. The staple binds the item with relative security, but is easily removed.
Tacking fastens objects to surfaces, such as bulletin boards or walls. A stapler that can tack has a base that folds back out of the way so staples drive directly into an object rather than fold against the anvil. A dedicated tacking device, with no base or anvil, is called a staple gun.
Saddle staplers have an inverted "V"-shaped saddle for stapling pre-fold sheets to make booklets.
Stapleless staplers, invented in 1910, are a means of stapling that punches out a small flap of paper and weaves it through a notch.
